Masala Chai

Known by many names but loved much the same, this is known as Teh Tarik in places like Malaysia & Singapore; a staple hot drink enjoyed any time of the day.  Masala Milk Tea more popularly going by the name Masala Chai here in New Zealand, gets the flavour from leaves blended with herbs like cinnamon, cardamom & black pepper then swirled in full cream milk.  Traditionally, this is sweetened with condense milk but we tame ours down with raw brown sugar.
